Distribution of space is a concept for a multifunctional space designed to serve as the core of Share Meals, a nonprofit organization dedicated to community food security. Blending the roles of an office, educational hub, and food redistribution center, the project uses versatile, ball-joint-connected USM modular furniture to symbolize and facilitate the interconnectedness essential to Share Meals' mission. More than a physical location, the distributed space adapts to changing needs, promoting collaboration, learning, and efficient resource distribution while binding the community together in a shared effort against food insecurity and fostering sustainability and communal belonging.
